There is good news for Dunfermline fans, with two players fighting their way back from injury.
Pars boss Jim McIntyre said on Thursday that both midfielders Alex Burke and Steven Bell were showing signs of improvement.
Burke, who has been out with a calf injury, was out running “and coming along well”, according to the East End Park boss.
Bell, who has been suffering from an achilles injury, was responding well to treatment, he added.
While disappointed to be knocked out of the Alba Cup on penalties to Queen of the South this week, McIntyre said that the side were concentrating on continuing the good start to the season.
