East Fife have managed to make a deadline day swoop for talented young Dundee United striker Ola Adeyemo.
It had looked like agreement would not be reached to bring the Nigerian to Bayview in the transfer window after Adeyemo was called up to his country’s Under 23 squad last month.
However, Fifers boss Gary Naysmith’s patience and perseverance has paid off after United agreed to let the 20-year-old forward leave on a development loan until the end of the season.
Adeyemo, highly-rated by United boss Jackie McNamara, recently signed a contract extension which should keep him at Tannadice until the end of next season at least.
