Cowdenbeath star Scott Linton may make clash with Dunfermline

Cowdenbeath manager Colin Cameron was given an unexpected boost with the news that Scott Linton, who looked to be out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury, could now be available for Saturday’s crunch clash with Dunfermline.
Cowden had been resigned to losing the left-back or midfield player for the rest of this campaign after he was injured against Livingston last week.
Cameron said, however, they had now learned that he had not torn his hamstring and could be back in action as early as this weekend.
The Cowden boss added: “He could be available for our match at Dunfermline and, if not, then for our last two scheduled fixtures at home to Dumbarton and away to Hamilton.”
Cameron, meanwhile, was running the rule over fellow drop-zone candidates Dumbarton in their 3-1 win at Falkirk last night before what could be a decisive fixture with the Sons at Central Park a week on Saturday.
The Cowdenbeath v East Fife reserve league cup tie, scheduled for Central Park on Tuesday, was called off shortly before kick-off due to high winds.
