Pars mulling over move for former Rangers man Perry?
ByCraig Smith
Dunfermline Athletic are weighing up a move for former Rangers centre half Ross Perry, Courier Sport understands.
The 24-year-old, who played for Scotland at Under 19 and Under 21 level, has been looking for a new club after being released by Raith Rovers earlier this month.
And now it seems he could well be on his way to East End Park after playing for the Pars in a closed doors friendly ironically against Rovers on Tuesday night.
Pars boss John Potter has already brought Perry’s former Rangers team-mate Kyle McAusland to the club in the January transfer window, and is understood to be mulling over an offer which would keep Perry in full-time football.
Perry made 16 appearances in all for Raith, although his final one ended with him being sent off just minutes into a game against Livingston that Rovers went on to lose 5-1.
