Dunfermline Athletic boss Jim Jefferies has escaped further sanctions after he was sent to the stand at the weekend, Courier Sport has learned.
The Pars manager was ordered away from the technical area in the dying stages of Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Stranraer, with referee Des Roache later including the incident in his match report.
Jefferies claimed he had been trying to shout instructions to French player Faissal El Bakhtaoui as the Pars tried to protect their slender lead in stoppage time, with Stranraer’s equaliser coming shortly after.
However, the SFA confirmed yesterday that compliance officer Tony McGlennan will take no further action against Jefferies, although he has written to the Pars boss with a warning.
