Raith Rovers boss plays the waiting game over signings

Raith Rovers boss John McGlynn is still waiting to find out whether his bid to bring in two SPL players on loan has been successful.

The Stark’s Park gaffer had hoped to secure the unnamed duo before the start of pre-season training but has now run out of time.

“I am still trying to bring players in but nothing is now likely to happen this week,” he said.

“The lads we have already signed up for next season are back this evening for their fitness tests.

“Luckily for them after the horrendous rain we have had, it will take place indoors.”
