St Johnstone linked with former Swansea man Scott Donnelly

St Johnstone are being linked with a move for former Swansea midfielder Scott Donnelly.

The 24-year-old is available as a free agent after being released by the Swans over the summer.

He spent much of the last two seasons on loan at Wycombe having found it difficult to make an impact at the Welsh club. Since leaving the Liberty Stadium he has had trials at Bradford and Southend.

Perth boss Steve Lomas knows the player from his days at QPR, where Donnelly graduated from their academy.

He is in the market for a midfielder after a deal for Mark Kerr fell through earlier this week.
