Price of renewing St Johnstone season tickets frozen

St Johnstone fans who renew their season tickets will have the price frozen after chairman Geoff Brown admitted postponements caused “significant inconvenience” during the campaign just ended.
Saints are raising the cost of season books by £10 in both the adult and senior citizen categories for new buyers but fans who purchased them last season will receive a tenner rebate.
The Perth club were dogged by call-offs as snow and rain caused havoc with their pitch and, in a letter to supporters, Brown conceded there was “significant inconvenience for our regular fans” as matches were rearranged for midweek.
However, he stressed Saints are investing over £120,000 on the McDiarmid Park playing surface and working with the SPL to ensure that future disruption from rescheduled games is minimised.
There is no increase for season tickets or cash admission for fans aged 18 and under, but pay at the gate for others is rising by £1.
Existing season ticket holders have until June 30 to renew their seat and that is also the deadline for buying at an early purchase price.
