Forfar are looking to capitalise on back-to-back home games to get their second division campaign up and running.
First up at Station Park this afternoon are Stenhousemuir, and the Loons are looking to bounce back from a couple of disappointing opening performances.
Assistant manager Ian Campbell admitted: “We’ve not had the start we wanted but we’re working hard to put that right.
“We’ve been in this situation before and we’re looking at these next two home games as an opportunity to get going. It’s about getting back to basics.
“We lost last week to Albion Rovers and I don’t think we worked as hard as we should have.
“That always has to be there before anything else and the players are hurting, so hopefully we’ll get that hard work back.
“It’s still very early in the season and I’m sure we’ll get things sorted out. This is going to be a very tight league and Stenhousemuir will be tough opponents who we’ll give every respect to.”
Forfar have a full squad to choose from and will include new keeper Adam McHugh in that pool.
The Warriors have striker Shaun Fraser on loan from Partick, and former Loons Ally Brown and Ross McMillan return from injury. Grant Plenderleith is banned.
