Dundee United’s on-loan winger Keanu Marsh-Brown has returned to Fulham just three weeks and one brief substitute appearance into his Tannadice stay.
The 19-year-old was farmed out to United until January by Craven Cottage boss Martin Jol, but has been unable to settle on Tayside so has headed back to London.
The only action he saw for the Tangerines was a late cameo off the bench against Inverness.
United manager Peter Houston revealed: ”Keanu is away back to Fulham. He could not settle up here away from London so we’ve let him go.”
Marsh-Brown is a player Houston won’t be calling on again, but he may have Sean Dillon back for the weekend clash with Motherwell.
The versatile defender is likely to take part in a closed-doors game against St Mirren today, having recovered from a calf injury ahead of schedule. All going well, the Irishman will then be in contention for the visit of the Steelmen.
”Sean Dillon was back training today so will probably play in a bounce game on Tuesday,” said Houston. ”It will be great to get him back again. He’s an experienced player and one who adds a lot to the side.
”He has worked hard to get back to fitness again so we’ll see how he gets on.”
