Finding goalscoring touch would give Dundee FC a much-needed lift

Dundee boss Barry Smith hasn’t lost faith that his players can find the back of the net.
However, he admits they need to start doing it sooner rather than later.
The Dens Park club have hit rock bottom in the First Division table after another goalless home match, but so tight is the table there’s no need to panic yet about being cut adrift from the leaders.
Smith knows many more hard-luck stories like Saturday’s, when they dominated against Hamilton, will keep them out of the promotion picture.
He said: ”If we keep doing what we’re doing I think it will come good, but we have to start putting these chances away soon.
”We’re at the bottom of the league, but it was a decent performance against Accies I’d be more concerned if we weren’t creating chances.
”We’re definitely doing the right things. It’s just a matter to taking those chances. We don’t want to become a team that plays well but loses games.”
