Dunfermline chief wants answers after fog call-off

The SPL and SFA are to compare notes over the postponement of Dunfermline’s home game against Kilmarnock at the weekend.
Pars chairman John Yorkston was furious that his club’s clash with the Ayrshire side was called off just an hour and a half before the scheduled kick-off because of fog at East End Park.
He declared himself to be ”totally bemused” by the decision taken by referee Bobby Madden and estimates the club could have lost up to £20,000 as a result of the call-off.
As if to make a point, manager Jim McIntyre even put his team through a training session on the pitch at 3pm, when the game was due to start.
Yorkston will be hoping for some answers when Scotland’s two leading football bodies get together to discuss the call-off.
SPL company secretary Iain Blair confirmed: ”We will be speaking to the SFA to understand the decision made on Saturday and to see what lessons can be learned.”
