Dundee United manager Peter Houston has told clubs interested in buying any of his players to either “put up or shut up.”
The latest team allegedly keen to raid the Tannadice squad is Swansea City, with midfielder Morgaro Gomis their supposed target.
However, an exasperated Houston is wearied by it all.
“It seems to me that every United player has been linked with a move to somewhere or other, yet we have had absolutely no bids from anybody,” he said.
“If any team does want to make an offer then I say go ahead and do it, and then we can consider whether it’s the right offer or not.
“I am just getting a fed up with it a bit now and it’s maybe time to put up or shut up.”
United goalkeeper Dusan Pernis’ World Cup adventure came to an end on Monday when Slovakia were knocked out by Holland in the last 16.
However, Pernis won’t be reporting back to Tannadice for pre-season training on Friday, when the rest of the squad return.
Instead, he will get time to have a holiday before possibly joining his team-mates for their summer trip to Austria and Germany.
“I am looking to give Dusan a couple of weeks off because he deserves a break with his family,” added Houston.
“There will be no rush back for the big man, although he may join us at some stage in Austria.”
Also absent will be defender Mihael Kovacevic, who is due to visit a specialist in Glasgow this week to have his knee ligament damage assessed.
