Three more of Dundee’s squad from last season have put pen to paper on new deals with the club.
Defender Neil McGregor and midfielders Jamie McCluskey and Kevin McBride all signed at Dens on Monday, joining the likes of Nicky Riley, Rab Douglas and Stephen O’Donnell who have already committed their immediate futures to the club.
Others are expected to follow suit in the next few days as boss Barry Smith continues to build for another promotion push.
The manager said: ”It’s great to get another three players signed from last year. They all proved their value last season and hopefully they will again next season.”
Club chief executive Scot Gardiner said: ”I’m very pleased that three more important pieces of our plan to get to the SPL have fallen into place today with Jamie, Kevin and Neil signing new contracts.
”All three players help Barry in different ways and are excellent professionals who are committed to the cause.
”We hope the fans can help him some more by signing up for their season ticket and leisure packages. That way we can drive the club forward even more.”
