Dundee have signed goalkeeper Grant Adam on a short-term deal.
With Scott Bain needing an operation in Hungary for appendicitis, and Kyle Letheren struggling with a calf strain, manager Paul Hartley has moved quickly to ensure he has an experienced keeper for Sunday’s glamour friendly against Manchester City.
Adam, who is from Dundee and is the brother of Charlie, has signed until the end of August. He last played for Airdrie.
Hartley told Courier Sport: “Kyle’s had a knock so Grant could be in line to play on Sunday, which is fantastic for him. It’s not easy to get somebody in on a short term deal.
“We’ll see what happens after that. You can never tell.”
