Dundee have taken a young Ajax defender on trial, it is understood.
Danzell Gravenberch (20) is in the Dutch club’s reserve side but is not expected to make the breakthrough to the first team.
The player’s agent has told the media in the Netherlands that her client, who can also play in midfield, is currently at Dens Park trying to win a deal with the Premiership newboys.
Gravenberch spent last season on loan at Dutch Eredivisie side NEC and has made appearances for the Holland under-19 team.
Manager Paul Hartley hasn’t ruled out making more signings before the transfer window shuts on Monday.
