Dundee have made their first signing of the close-season.
Striker Philip Roberts (20), who started his career with Arsenal, has been in Scotland for two seasons.
After initially joining Inverness Caley Thistle he spent last season with Falkirk.
The former Republic of Ireland under-19 international played over 30 times for the Bairns, scoring six times throughout the season, including a hat-trick in a 3-0 win at Livingston.
Manager Paul Hartley had already agreed a pre-contract with another forward, Cowdenbeath’s Greg Stewart.
He has also been linked with a move for his former keeper at Alloa, Scott Bain.
