Dundee have signed Alloa defender Daryll Meggatt on a pre-contract deal. Left-sided Meggatt (24) has been a key man for the Wasps in the Championship this season, playing 38 times for them. He will be teaming up again with Dens boss Paul Hartley, who signed him for Alloa from Queen’s Park in the summer of 2012. Meggatt will report for pre-season training with his new club after a summer break and will then formally sign a two-year deal.
