Dundee boss Paul Hartley snaps up Cardiff striker on loan
ByNeil Robertson
Dundee boss Paul Hartley has bolstered his squad with the addition of Rhys Healey on loan from Cardiff City until January.
Healey came through the youth ranks at Welsh Premier Division side Gap Connah’s Quay.
The 20-year-old then moved to Cardiff and made his debut as a substitute against Chelsea in 2014.
Last season he was loaned out to Colchester where he netted four times in 23 appearances.
On Monday night, Healey took his goals tally for the Bluebirds’ Under-21 team to five in three matches this season with a double strike against Brentford at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Healey is Hartley’s second loan signing this week following the arrival of Riccardo Calder from Aston Villa.
