It is as you were at the top of the Championship, after Dundee were pegged back for a draw at New Douglas Park.
Only goals scored divides the two teams with four games to play, the only change being Falkirk’s emphatic win against Cowdenbeath has taken them to within four points of the top.
Martin Boyle had given the Dark Blues a 37th minute lead with a sharp predator’s finish.
However Dundee old boy Mickael Antoine Curier made a telling impact as a second half sub, and levelled the scores on 71 minutes with a close-range header.
On balance, it was a result that was a fair reflection of the play.
The early stages of the game saw plenty of commitment but little in the way of clear-cut chances.
Dundee struggled to keep possession into a strong wind, while the home side, and in particular Jason Scotland, were slack in the final third of the pitch.
It took Boyle’s 37th minute goal to spark the match into life, and it was a controversial one.
After Accies had failed to clear their lines following a Peter MacDonald free-kick, the ball was flung back into their box from the left and helped on by Kevin McBride.
Boyle was quickest to react and tucked the ball past Kevin Cuthbert from close range.
Accies were adamant that he was offside, but referee Willie Collum and his assistant referee waved their protests away.
With the wind at their backs, Dundee started the second half well and Boyle nearly got a second. His near post shot on 54 minutes was tipped round the post by Cuthbert.
The momentum of the game changed on 61 minutes though with the introduction of Antoine Curier.
He brought a physical threat that the Dundee backline hadn’t had to deal with previously and on 71 minutes he was the strongest in the box when Louis Longridge crossed from the left, and headed home at the near post.
