Paul Hartley believes new signing Darren O’Dea has already made his mark on the Dundee team.
The Firhill headlines were grabbed by Gary Harkins for his man-of-the-match performance, that featured two goals and two assists.
And Kane Hemmings extending his run to nine goals in nine games was another notable achievement, as was Greg Stewart’s impressive return from suspension.
But Hartley was also delighted with the role former Celtic man O’Dea played in keeping Thistle at bay on his debut.
“O’Dea’s great experience counted for us,” Hartley said.
“I thought his leadership was great as well.”
Meanwhile, Dundee are understood to be closing in on the loan signing of Spanish striker Arturo.
