Inverness CT v Dundee: Hartley expects side to bounce back from Killie disappointment
ByThe Courier Reporter
Dundee manager Paul Hartley maintains his players are ready to atone for the disappointment of last weekend’s home defeat by Kilmarnock when they head north to face Inverness.
The Dens Park side suffered a 2-1 loss at home to Gary Locke’s side, which saw them slip down a place into seventh slot in the Ladbrokes Premiership.
They know a win over Caley Thistle in the Highlands on Saturday could see them move back into the top six and Hartley believes they are all geared up to make amends.
Hartley said: “We were disappointed with how we played in the Kilmarnock match.
“We were just flat all over the pitch. That’s what happened on the day.
“What we had worked on beforehand we didn’t carry out but this is another game to look forward to. The lads have worked hard in training all week and will be ready for this match.
“It’s always a tough 90 minutes against Inverness, whether it’s home or away, and we know that.
“We know what they’re capable of their day and it was a tight match at Dens Park earlier in the season. We expect it to be like that again and they have some very good players.”
