Darnell Fisher looking for Celtic to return the favour

Celtic’s Premiership title aspirations were aided by a late St Johnstone goal at Pittodrie on Saturday.

And now on-loan Parkhead defender Darnell Fisher is looking for his former team-mates to return the favour by boosting the Perth club’s bid for fourth.

Saints will be focusing on their own match against Partick Thistle tonight, but Fisher is also hoping Ronny Deila’s men will see off top six rivals Dundee.

“We did Celtic a favour on Saturday by drawing with Aberdeen so hopefully they can repay us this week against Dundee,” the Fisher said.

“The battle for the top six is very tight, we got a point at the weekend and went back into fourth.

“The fact we’re still in fourth even though we didn’t win for eight games or something shows how well we did early on in the season.”
