Dundee have parted company with Iain Davidson and youngster Jamie Reid by mutual consent.
Davidson, who can play in midfield and at centre-half, was an integral member of the Dark Blues squad that won promotion from the Championship last season.
However, the 31-year-old has only made 14 appearances this term and he last featured against St Johnstone on April 25 when he came off the bench.
Now, he has left Dens with the former Raith Rovers player on the look-out for another club.
There has already been interest from abroad with a team in Azerbaijan keen on the player.
Reid, who came through the youth ranks at Dens, spent this season on loan firstly at Stenhousemuir and then latterly at Elgin City.
