Dundee boss John Brown has admitted that he will be looking for his side to make home advantage really count as the season enters its second quarter.
The Dark Blues’ next three games are against fellow promotion challengers, with Saturday’s match against Raith at Dens being followed by encounters with Falkirk and table-toppers Hamilton.
Brown believes that these three matches will provide him with a yardstick to measure how the rest of the season looks like shaping up.
He said: “The games we have coming up are massive to see where we are going to feature in the league. Raith, Falkirk and Hamilton . . . you are not going to get any tougher games.
“We are going into them one at a time and hopefully we can bring a performance which is something we need to do starting on Saturday as Raith have been really consistent.
“They are unbeaten in 11 league games so we need everyone to be at their best. These three games will tell me where the squad’s going to be.
“I did say the second quarter was going to be a big indicator of where we are going to be come the end of the season.
“We have five home games out of the nine and if we can win the majority of them, then we will not be far away.”
