Dundee sign former Stranraer keeper David Mitchell

Dundee boss Paul Hartley has made another new signing for next season with the addition of keeper David Mitchell from Stranraer.
As revealed in The Courier at the start of last month, the Dens boss has been on the trail of the 25-year-old for a while.
Just last week, the goalie’s former boss at Stair Park new Dumbarton manager Stephen Aitken admitted he had tried to sign Mitchell for the Sons but the player’s preferred option was the chance of full-time football with the Dark Blues.
He has now put pen to paper on a two-year deal with Dundee and will challenge Scott Bain for possession of the No.1 jersey.
Hartley has been one of the busiest managers in Scotland as he looks to reshape his squad for next season and has already snapped up Rory Loy, Nicky Low, Kane Hemmings, Kevin Holt and Daryll Meggatt.
