Dundee consider moving for former United man Jason Scotland
ByThe Courier Reporter
Dundee are believed to be weighing up a move for former Dundee United striker Jason Scotland.
The 33-year-old front man parted company yesterday with Championship side Ipswich Town after agreeing a settlement over the final few months of his contract.
The Trinidad and Tobago internationalist, who has also had spells with St Johnstone, Swansea City and Wigan, had fallen down the pecking order at Portman Road under Mick McCarthy and is now a free agent.
Courier Sport understands he has been recommended to the Dark Blues and could be set to travel north on trial.
One player definitely coming to Dens is Faroese centre-half Pol Johannus Justinussen. The 24-year-old has been capped five times for his country and has recently been playing for Nsi Runavik in his homeland.
He is now set to try his luck at Dundee in a bid to win a contract with the club.
