Hull City have had another bid for Andrew Robertson this time believed to be over £2 million rejected by Dundee United. That does not seem to have put off Tigers boss Steve Bruce, however, who last night insisted he will be patient in pursuit of the Scotland star. Bruce remains hopeful of landing the Tannadice left-back as well as central defender Harry Maguire from Sheffield United. He has already snapped up summer recruits Jake Livermore, Robert Snodgrass and Tom Ince but wants more and is willing to bide his time. The former Manchester United defender said: “I expect us to be a bit more active in the next seven days but we just have to be patient. “We’ll see if we can get these deals done and I hope we can get one or two over the line.”
