Hull City boss Steve Bruce says Andy Robertson is ‘on our radar’

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has confirmed an interest in Dundee United left-back Andy Robertson.

However, there was no hint from Bruce that a fresh swoop for the Scotland star was imminent after the Tangerines knocked back an earlier offer from the Tigers of £1.75 million plus.

With the English Premier League side currently in Portugal for pre-season training, the former England and Manchester United defender would like as many of his new players as possible to join him in the sunshine.

Asked about Robertson, Bruce confirmed: “We have shown an interest in the boy as someone who’s come on our radar. There’s an interest there but that’s it at the moment.”
