Jackie McNamara says tribunal will settle Charlie Telfer transfer from Rangers

Dundee United manager Jackie McNamara is expecting the Charlie Telfer compensation fee to eventually be settled by a tribunal despite the saga dragging on longer than expected.
When the Scotland under-19 midfieldler joined the Tangerines from Rangers in June the matter was expected to be resolved in a matter of weeks.
Now five months on and with Telfer an established member of the United first-team squad, agreement has still to be reached between Tannadice and Ibrox.
“Nothing has been sorted out yet,” said McNamara.
“I think we are still waiting on a date for the tribunal and as far as I am led to believe it is going that way.
“We will just have to wait for that and see what happens.”
McNamara, meanwhile, is hoping the international break will give key players time to shake off knocks before the next game at home to Kilmarnock a week on Saturday.
He said: “We have a few struggling after Friday night Nadir Ciftci, John Rankin and Chris Erskine.
“Those lads haven’t done a lot of training.
“Mario Bilate has been working with the physio and is coming on.
“I don’t know if he will have a chance for our next game, though.”
