Celtic lining up bid for Dundee United striker Nadir Ciftci

Celtic are weighing up a January move for Dundee United striker Nadir Ciftci, Courier Sport can reveal.
Hoops boss Ronny Deila was hugely impressed with the goal-scoring performance of the Tangerines’ frontman when the two sides clashed a week ago.
And his scout at McDiarmid Park for the St Johnstone match left Perth with another positive report to pass on.
Midfielder Stuart Armstrong has previously been linked with a switch to Parkhead, but Deila is also understood to be a big fan of Ciftci.
And an offer for the 22-year-old in the next couple of weeks is being considered.
It will have to be a serious one to lure him away from Tayside, however.
Not only is Ciftci under contract until May 2016, United are outside contenders for the Scottish Premiership title and are only five points off the top of the table, despite Saturday’s defeat to Saints.
