Dundee United have extended the contracts of midfielder Ryan Dow and goalkeeper Marc McCallum until May 2016.
Dow (22) has flourished in 2013/14 and has scored four goals in 30 appearances, and is in line to start United’s Scottish Cup final on Saturday.
McCallum (21) recently made his first team debut against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.
He has played for Scotland at both under-17 and under-19 level and has experienced first team football on loan at Forfar Athletic and Peterhead.
Manager Jackie McNamara said: “I am delighted to get the players signed ahead of the Scottish Cup final. Both players want to continue to develop as Dundee United players and it is brilliant for the club to have them sign up until 2016.
“Ryan and Marc have both come through the ranks and in my time here both have shown continual improvement. Both are from the local area also and it will be a boost for our fans to see the players secure their future to the club.”
