Dundee United knock back offers for Robertson and GMS

Dundee United have knocked back another bid from Hull City for Andy Robertson as well as an offer for Gary Mackay-Steven.
Deeming both to be below their respective valuations, United said a firm no to Hull’s second approach for their left-back, while an English League One side was told to think again after trying to get the winger.
A club source said: “There have been two bids but neither came close to what we believe the players are worth.”
Also, commenting on the move for Mackay-Steven only, manager Jackie McNamara added: “We had a bid for him (on Monday) but it was rejected. That’s as far as it is at the moment.”
Asked which club had made the offer, McNamara added: “No, it’s better to keep that one there.
“I’ve spoken to Gary about it and said to him that I want to keep him here even though he’s going to walk away for nothing next year.
“I don’t think the offer was good enough for him or for the club.”
Czech trialist Jiri Lenko has been allowed to return home without a deal being struck.
