Dundee United’s Chris Erskine has signed a pre-contract agreement to join Partick Thistle in the summer.
He has agreed a three-year deal, and it will be his third spell at Firhill.
It has been an injury-plagued season for Erskine at Tannadice, and it remains to be seen whether Mixu Paatelainen will decide to let him join the Jags this month rather than wait until the end of the campaign.
Thistle boss Alan Archibald told BBC Radio Scotland: “We were aware of him being out of contract at the end of the season and United hadn’t moved on it so we went through the right channels.
“It’s a good one to look forward to next year.”
Asked if he expects Erskine to move sooner than that, Archibald added: “That’s down to Dundee United.”
