The 23-year-old left-back is out of contract at Tannadice and is set to continue his career in eastern Europe. Douglas was Peter Houston’s first signing in the wake of United’s 2010 Scottish Cup win. He has already visited the Stadion Miejski to see what Poznan have to offer. Both parties have clearly been impressed and Douglas has returned to Poland to conclude the deal, possibly as early as today.
