Dundee United striker Robbie Muirhead is going head to head with superstars Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar to try to claim a prestigious prize.
The Tannadice teenager has joined that illustrious group in the search to find UEFA’s goal of the season.
His brilliant strike from distance for the Scotland under-19s against Norway has made it into the top 10 for the 2014-15 campaign.
The winner will be decided by a public vote via the UEFA website and forms part of the organisation’s 60-year anniversary celebrations.
The shortlist, compiled by the governing body’s football committee and technical observers, also includes hits from Aaron Ramsay, Erik Lamela, Kevin De Bruyne, Vasyl Kobin, Vitorino Antunes and Belgian women’s international Mariam Abdulai Toloba.
