Former Dundee United man Garry Kenneth eyeing return to Scotland

Former Dundee United star Garry Kenneth looks set for a move back to Scotland after holding talks with present club Bristol Rovers about terminating his contract.
The 26-year-old still has over 18 months of his deal at the Memorial Stadium left to run but is believed to be keen to return north of the border.
Kenneth, who was one of United’s Scottish Cup-winning heroes in 2010, has been blighted by injury during his time at Bristol.
He battled back from a torn cruciate sustained last January in a game against Gillingham but then suffered a groin problem at the start of this month which coincided with his initial request to leave Rovers.
Kenneth and his representatives have now held talks with chairman Nick Higgs in a bid to mutually terminate his contract.
Higgs said: “We have talked around that possibility, but there is a long way to go on that.
“Garry is interested in going back to Scotland, as far as I am aware, so there is a possibility he may go out on loan or he may well leave the club.
“Garry has been injured for the last couple of weeks so we are set to pick that one back up when he reports back for training.”
