Celtic skipper Scott Brown has dismissed suggestions that manager Ronny Deila has put them under too much pressure with his treble ambitions.
Deila admitted he would be disappointed if they did not achieve their full potential of winning all three domestic competitions this season.
Celtic, who lost at home to St Johnstone on Wednesday, will have to overcome Dundee United twice in eight days to keep the dream alive, firstly at Tannadice in the William Hill Scottish Cup quarter-finals on Sunday.
The club have only won a clean sweep three times – under Jock Stein, twice, and Martin O’Neill – but Brown believes they can meet expectations.
When asked if Deila’s comments had piled on too much pressure, the midfielder said: “Not in the slightest. We want to win every game. Wednesday was a slight hiccup and we were lucky enough it was in the league.
“Every team in the world has that performance in them. If you look at Barcelona there is always a little hiccup here and there.
“It’s about your character and how you bounce back. We are strong enough in that dressing room to bounce back from anything.”

Celtic fell out of the cups last season against Morton and Aberdeen and have only won one of the last six domestic cup trophies despite the weakness of Rangers.
And Brown is determined to get back on the Hampden steps to lift more silverware.
“Every game is important for us,” he said. “Last season was the exact same. We were disappointed to go out the cups, especially so early.
“Wednesday was a learning curve and it shows it’s not going to be easy street to win every game between now and the end of the season.
“It is going to be hard against Dundee United, especially three times in three weeks.”
Celtic had won 10 domestic games in succession before Wednesday night’s 1-0 home defeat but their previous loss in Scotland came at Tannadice in December.
United have since sold Stuart Armstrong and Gary Mackay-Steven to Celtic but the attacking midfielders are ineligible for the Scottish Cup tie and League Cup final.
“It’s a bit of pace out of our team but we have a big enough squad,” Brown said.
“There were a lot of players not in the squad on Wednesday night who would probably get a game for most Premiership teams. I’m sure they will be wanting their chance.”
