Ross County 3 Dundee United 0: Tangerines well beaten by Staggies
ByIan Roache
Dundee United made it six games without a win as they lost 3-0 to Ross County at the Global Energy Stadium.
The Tangerines’ last victory came at home to the Staggies on December 21 but they were well beaten in Dingwall this time.
A double from Filip Kiss (42 and 74 minutes) and a single from Yoann Arquin (68 minutes) made it a miserable afternoon for United, who have now taken only two points out of a possible 18 during that six-game slump.
County, on the other hand, were a team transformed from that day at Tannadice when they seemed happy with just a one-goal defeat.
This time their new-look attack of Arquin and Jordan Slew ripped United’s defence to bits.
The visitors could complain about some erratic refereeing from Craig Charleston but the scoreline certainly didn’t flatter the home team.
