Dundee United are still hopeful of adding a third fixture to their European summer schedule.
On the German leg of their continental trip, the Tangerines will face Union Berlin on Sunday July 7 and Energie Cottbus the following Friday.
The Tannadice team will then fly to Spain, where they will be based at the San Roque complex north of Gibraltar for a week.
It was thought that all their Spanish work would be done on the training park but they are increasingly confident that a third match will be pencilled in, although final details have yet to be confirmed.
Manager Jackie McNamara is confident he will have a group of injured players back fit by the time they report for pre-season work on July 1 at the earliest, or when they fly out to Berlin at the latest.
On the recovery list are Sean Dillon, Gavin Gunning, Keith Watson and John Rankin.
McNamara said: “I’m hopeful about all of them.
“Keith seems OK. He didn’t need an operation but had to rest his knee because of past problems and it looks to have worked.
“When they went for their ops, we expected Sean and John to be ready about the time we were coming back to work and that hasn’t changed.
“I am also hoping Gavin will be fine too. It was his knee that ended his season early but he also had a shoulder problem so we took the chance to get that sorted as well.”
