Dundee United and Arbroath have agreed a fee for prolific striker Simon Murray, Courier Sport can confirm.
And all that now remains for the deal to be concluded is the 22-year-old to agree terms.
United made their move a couple of days ago, and they aren’t the only top flight club to have shown an interest in Murray, who scored his 17th goal of the season against Montrose this weekend.
Murray is a Dundee man, and made his name in the juniors before Paul Sheerin snapped him up in the summer.
It is understood that the fee will be around £50,000 and that Murray will spend the rest of the season with promotion-chasing Arbroath on loan.
