Spartak Trnava v St Johnstone: Spartak boss wary of Saints’ threat
ByThe Courier Reporter
Spartak Trnava boss Juraj Jarabek has stressed that although his side are in the driving seat ahead of the match, he is still wary of the threat St Johnstone possess.
And he believes his side will have to match Tommy Wright’s men physically if they hope to progress.
Jarabek said: “We respect the strength of St Johnstone.
“We could have made it three goals in the first leg but the tie is still alive. That was a chance Eric Sabo should have taken after half-time and if we had scored the third then I think things would be irrelevant.
“But we fell asleep when St Johnstone scored three minutes into injury time.”
Jarabek added: “We now have to make sure we win the tie this week because St Johnstone are dangerous opponents.
“They are a physical team so we have to match that if we’re going to go into the next round. We have to play as well as we did in the first game and that could well be enough.”
