St Johnstone goalkeeper Alan Mannus extends contract
ByThe Courier Reporter
St Johnstone goalkeeper Alan Mannus has signed a new one-year contact.
The Northern Ireland international has been one of the most consistent performers for Saints over the last couple of years, and one of the best keepers in the Scottish Premiership.
He was sidelined recently with a broken thumb, but made his comeback ahead of schedule at Celtic on Sunday.
The 31-year-old arrived at McDiarmid in 2011 as understudy to Peter Enckelman.
It has been a good week for Saints as far as re-signing players is concerned, with Frazer Wright also extending his contract a few days ago.
