All eyes will be on Nyon as far as St Johnstone supporters are concerned.
The Scottish Cup winners will find out their Europa League fate when the second qualifying round draw is made in the Swiss city at 1.30pm British time.
The club will be represented at Uefa headquarters by associate director Abby Ramsay and football administrator Paul Smith in order to get off the mark quickly as regards travel arrangements.
Saints, who will play their matches on July 17 and 24, are unseeded and among the list of possible seeded opponents are Gregory Tade’s Romanian team Cluj, Spartak Moscow of Russia and Hapoel Tel-Aviv from Israel.
Fans will have a better idea of their potential rivals, though, when the clubs are divided into eight groups before the draw so that teams in the same association are not in the same group and that all groups are roughly equal in strength in terms of ranking.
Premiership runners-up Motherwell will go into the hat along with Saints but are seeded.
Third-placed Aberdeen enter the Europa League earlier than those two, at the first qualifying stage on July 3 and 10.
They are seeded and should be handed an agreeable tie but will be wary of landing a tricky, and costly, trip to the likes of Armenia, Kazakhstan or Azerbaijan. Celtic enter the Champions League at the second qualifying round.
The Hoops’ seeded status should ensure a favourable draw, although one potential opponent clearly stands out for Ronny Deila’s maiden continental clash the Norwegian’s former club Stromsgodset.
