St Johnstone boss watches FC Luzern beat Spartak Moscow

Having watched them in person, Tommy Wright now knows for sure that FC Luzern will present every bit as tough a Europa League test as Rosenborg did this time last year.
The St Johnstone boss has returned to Scotland after watching their Swiss opponents defeat Spartak Moscow 2-0 at the weekend.
Wright, however, is not daunted by the task in front of the Perth men in less than a fortnight, and believes his Scottish Cup winners can progress to the next qualifying round.
After assessing his opposition in advance of the July 17 first leg Europa League trip to Lucerne, he said: “They made nine or 10 half-time substitutions but we saw enough to see what they are about.
“They have some quality players and we got to look at most of their squad, including summer signings.
“Midfielder Alan Wiss scored, along with Ridge Mobulu, and looked a very good player. Their new striker Marco Schneuwly also looks big and strong.
“It was certainly a worthwhile exercise and we will have them watched again this week.”
