Tommy Wright reckons the watching FC Luzern scout in the Bayview stand will have been given plenty of food for thought by his side’s 4-0 friendly win over East Fife.
Wright’s men travel to Switzerland next week to face their opponents in the Europa League with a representative from the hosts an interested spectator at Wednesday night’s game.
Goals from Michael O’Halloran, Stevie May, Steven Maclean and Chris Kane wrapped up a convincing win over Gary Naysmith’s League Two side.
Boss Wright said: “I think the scout is coming to watch us again on Saturday but they’ll have been impressed with the way that we started the game and also our tempo.
“We played a very high pressing game and scored four cracking goals so he’ll have plenty to take back.
“There were a few players who managed to get a good 90 minutes under their belts so that was important for us as well.”
