Frazer Wright leaves St Johnstone weeks after agreeing new deal

Frazer Wright has left St Johnstone just weeks after signing a new deal with the club.
The former Kilmarnock stopper is thought to have agreed a deal with Championship side Dumbarton despite signing a one-year contract at McDiarmid Park in June.
Wright played 108 times for the Perth side and was part of the Scottish Cup-winning line-up in 2014.
Manager Tommy Wright said: “The decision for Frazer to leave wasn’t an easy one but was done with Frazer’s best interests at heart.
“It gives him an opportunity to play week-in-week-out which is important for him.
“Frazer has been an absolute rock for this football club and has been a tremendous player, particularly in my tenure as manager.
“The Frazer Wright and Steven Anderson defensive partnership will be long remembered in the history books of St. Johnstone for the success they had together.
“Both I and the football club wish him all the best in the future.”
