Tommy Wright has urged St Johnstone fans to help his team complete a derby double.
The Perth men saw off Dundee United at Tannadice on Saturday, and now welcome city neighbours Dundee to McDiarmid Park on Friday.
Saints are in fine form, having won their last five matches, but Dundee come into the game on the back of an excellent point at Tynecastle.
Wright praised the club’s supporters for the backing they have given their team on the road and at home this season, and he hopes that Friday night football in the Fair City will prove to be a big attraction.
“Dundee are a good side and will be in there challenging for the top six,” he said.
“They achieved that last year and will be one of our rivals for that again this season.
“It’s our second derby game in a row. It’s a live TV game under the lights and we’re really looking forward to it.”
Wright added: “The fans were magnificent at Tannadice on Saturday.
“Our home gates were up 20% last year and I think they’re up again this year.
“If you look at our last home game against Kilmarnock normally we get under 3,000 for that fixture and this year we got about 3,500, with only about 200 Kilmarnock fans.
“It might not be thousands, but we are getting a few extra hundred.
“There will be a chance that a night game against Dundee could be our biggest crowd of the season so far.
“We’re two teams who score goals and play attacking football so hopefully it will be a good game for the TV.”
