St Johnstone defender Steven Anderson has had the red card issued to him during Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Hearts downgraded to a yellow.
The centre half was sent off by referee Brian Colvin in the 21st minute of the weekend’s lively encounter with the Edinburgh side for denying an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.
However, replays suggested the dismissal was harsh as Frazer Wright appeared to be up with play, so Saints appealed the decision.
After reviewing the footage, the referee has now downgraded the red card to a yellow and that means Anderson will not have any suspension to serve.
