Millwall expect to make decision on Steve Lomas this week

St Johnstone fans should know by the end of the week if manager Steve Lomas is leaving for Millwall.
Lomas is the bookies’ favourite to take over at the New Den and it is understood he is the leading candidate.
The Championship side’s chief executive Andy Ambler did not name names but said progress was being made.
“The most important thing here is to ensure we get the right man for the job and timing is not of the essence at this stage,” he said.
“The fact this is a holiday period for most people in football has been a factor in slowing the process slightly but we are moving in the right direction and hopefully there will be more news by the end of this week.”
